What Was I Going to Write?
As I was riding today, I worked on this blog post in my head. However, when I got back I made dinner and then attended a concert/dance featuring my son's high school jazz band, followed by a trip to the grocery store. Now that I'm getting around to documenting, I've either forgotten what I was going to write, or I've lost the enthusiasm for the subjects.
I think that you, the reader, have been saved from another description of the same route I've ridden for past several rides, my thoughts on my tire pressure, and photos of partially flooded fields that I'm sure you don't care about. Hooray for you!
Anyway, here's a cool shot of a frozen creek.

Nice shot. Things have obviously been colder there than here ... except for a few areas most of the ice had melted by Saturday.
I've got the same problem with capturing my thoughts, but as you mention, that's often a good thing. I figure if the thought wasn't interesting enough to remember, it won't be interesting enough to write about.
The good ones tend to disappear and re-appear over and over and get richer as time goes by. This is good because my writing needs to simmer on the back burner for a while. I don't think it tastes as good coming straight out of the microwave ;-).
I know excactly what you mean!
Happens to me all the time.
Sometimes I remember but just feel like it is not important enough anymore to be told...
I write the best blog posts in the world while riding my bike, sometimes several a day....but alas....like you, I seem to forget them before I can get to a computer.
