Bike to Work Wednesdays

The Mayor of West Lafayette, Jan Mills, along with fellow Harrison Band Booster Bill Arthur, has declared Bike to Work Wednesdays. It sounds like a low key version of the Bike to Work Day in May, but there is a better chance of actually changing peoples habits and perceptions.

Mills is hoping people will bike to work on Wednesdays when the weather is good. The program will be year-round.

People who can't bike to work on Wednesdays are encouraged to bike to work when they can, she said.

It will be nice for me to have an extra incentive, especially now that we're leaving the hot weather behind and entering prime commuting weather.
